Paramount High School
Paramount Unified School District decided to undergo an
extensive 5-phase campus and building modernization project at the
Paramount High School.
Phase 1 involved reconstruction the existing football and baseball
field. New facilities include a new synthetic football field with
athletic track, reconfigured and new baseball field, bleachers,
storage buildings and hardscape.
Phase 2 included construction of a new library building serving the
students during the day and public at night and a new mini
gymnasium located on the west campus. The gym will also serve
students during and day and public at night.
Phase 3 included construction of an athletic building containing
locker rooms, weight rooms and offices. The building is located
adjacent to the football field and includes reconstruction of the
adjacent access road and provides a plaza area overlooking the
4 included construction of a new science building and
adjacent plaza area. Project also included relocation of an
existing restroom building.
Phase 5 included reconstruction of the main plaza area with new
hardscape and landscape and expansion of the existing main
each phase we performed the civil engineering scope which
included site layout, grading, drainage including BMPs, new
utilities and connections to City facilities, erosion control
and parking lot modifications. Approval was required from the
City of Paramount for work within street right of way, and
utility connections. Connection to existing drainage facilities
was processed through the County of Los Angeles Public Works.
Project was processed through and approved by DSA.
